Eagle of Mine

Check it out, this song was written by my younger sister (8 years old), she’s so cute 😉

Elizabeth Han Hopkins's avatarZoe H Hopkins

He’s gliding past the audience,

Getting everyone’s attention

Fly, fly, fly…..

Searching high and low,

For a little something to eat,

But it doesn’t take him long…

And he swoops down in a minute or twooo…

Grabs just what he needs…

Then he’s back up soaring in the sky…

That beautiful eagle of mine….

Grandad

As I look up at the stars at night,
I wander whether your looking,
Down at me…
Protecting me silently.

Its been so long now,
Many, many years,
I sometimes try to imagine,
What you would do or say,
If you was still here.

Would be proud of me?
Would you say everything’s going to be ok…..

As I look up at the stars at night,
I wander whether your looking,
Down at me…
Protecting me silently.

Would things be different,
Would you smile more,
As the number of your grandchildren grew and grew…
Granddad I miss you,
Hope your doing well up there…

As I look up at the stars at night,
I wander whether your looking,
Down at me…
Protecting me silently.

You may be gone,
But you’ll never be forgotten…

Beethoven Virus

I wrote this a while ago, after watching Beethoven Virus. The persona is the trumpet player Gun Woo, who falls in love with Du Ru-Mi, a violinist. At first they like each other, but over time the violinist falls in love with the conductor, and him with her, but regardless Gun Woo still loves her unconditionally. >.<

Please don’t leave me,

Because I need you,

In my life,

I’d be lost without you…

Guiding me through…

(Chorus)

I thought I would die,

I thought…I thought I would stop breathing,

Without you…

By my side….

You was the one,

Who made me smile,

And brought me up,

When I was down,

You was the one I needed the most…

(Chorus)

You opened up,

The pathway to my dreams,

Showing me,

The talent I really had….

(Chorus)

And it’s hard for me.

To let you go…

But if,

I’m not the one,

for you….

Then you should leave,

And get the person,

Who makes you happy…

Cause so long as you happy,

I will be too…

So live you life,

With no regrets…

And I will continue,

to love you….

Unconditionally….

<3 This is for my Mum & Dad <3

Ok I know I haven’t wrote for a while so I apologize for being so slack.

As it is almost my 21st, my dad and my mum have been really amazing at helping me organize something special, so I’ve decided to put up this song that I wrote a few years back as a little something to say thank you for everything they’ve done for me not only for these past few months but my whole life since I was born! 😉

Keep in mind I wrote this when I was in that rebellious stage haha

Hey mum & dad,

I know there’s times; that have been rough,

Which I know weren’t,

helped by me,

Shouting and screaming,

I wanna get out…

In truth,

There’s times; I dunno what,

I would have done,

without you…

I guess what I’m trying to say,

Is that,

I’m thankful to have you…

Through all these rough times,

You may have complained,

Yet you done things to make,

the 3 of us happy,

Me, James and Zoe…

I dunno what we would have,

done without you,

our loving parents…

Its kinnda crazy,

How time has changed,

From when I was the,

Only child to having a,

little brother and sister,

to look after…

Going to the fair and eating candy floss,

to doing martial arts in our backyard,

feeling like I had,

All the time in the world,

to practically having none at all…

Its so strange,

Because when I look back,

Its like it was only was, yesterday…

Those vivid memories,

will live with me,

till the day that I die….

Thank you Mum & Dad,

For giving me,

A wonderful childhood,

One that makes me smile,

When I look back…

Thank you mum and dad….

And so the story continues,

as my life goes on

Please forgive me…

Concept:

This girl (Miss A) fell for this guy (Mr. b), but they had to separate, as they lived in two different worlds. She promised she would wait for him, but they fell out one day and she swore at him, that was the beginning of their downfall…
Later she received a message from him telling her that he wasn’t the one for her.
She was very upset as he completely ignored any messages she sent him. Miss A continues to look for some sort of closure between the two of them, and wanders if he’s forgiven her and if they can ever be the close friends they once were…

For Mr.B

Its strange but I look back,

Every now and again,

Hoping to understand,

The events that transpired,

before and after you left…

Have you forgiven me,

So unsure…

Don’t know what to say,

to you,

But really want to speak to you…

Can we be friends?

Can I know,

Why you don’t, ever talk to me anymore…

If I hurt you,

I’m sincerely sorry,

from the bottom of my heart…

I hope that if you haven’t forgiven me yet,

That one day you will

I miss you…

Miss A

New Friends

I must apologize for not writing on this for so long, as I have been busy doing my driving theory and what not,  so I hope this song will make up for it a little bit. Its written for someone who made me smile, and has become a good friend of mine recently.

Hope you like it 🙂

When I first met you,

I thought you were kind of cool,

Wasn’t sure how to speak to you,

And I was a little nervous too…

But when I finally spoke to you,

I found out you were cheeky and warm,

Making faces at me,

And joking around…

Although I haven’t known you for long,

It feels like its been a while…

My new friend,

I’m glad to have met you….

So whatever happens,

I’ll be there for you…

Be sure to be happy,

And laugh and smile like you make me do….

My new friend,

I’m glad to have met you….

I hope we’re friends forever and ever…

Peace out

Echo

This is something me and my sister Zoe(who’s 6) wrote last year, when we were travelling in the car 🙂 She’s my little inspiration sometimes, and can be very funny and cheeky ❤

Hope you enjoy it 🙂

My little sister Zoe

Echo; echo; echo;

Follow the echo…

Hearing the echo from my heart,

In my mind,

Surrounding me,

Constantly…

Echo; echo; echo;

Follow the echo…

I’m walking forward…

Following blindly…

Hoping that it,

Will lead,

Somewhere that make me Happy…

Echo; echo; echo;

Follow the echo…

Is it possible,

That suddenly,

When I hear this echo,

Calling out to me.

That all my worries,

Pain & suffering,

Will diminish, into a….

Echo; echo, echo; echo; echo, echo; echo…

Follow the echo…

Dreaming freely,

This echo pulling me,

To a direction,

That I’ve never considered,

Or seen,

The I hear that…..

Echo; echo; echo;

Follow the echo…

It swipes me off my feet…

Into my dreams…

A place where…You FREE…Following that echoing…

Silent Attraction

Concept:

In this piece the girl has a silent attraction for someone but is scared to tell them, as she’s been hurt before. But she hopes one day he’ll notice
and maybe he’s the one who will breakthrough the guard she’s shielded herself in…
Hope you enjoy it 🙂

Nine: This dog's story is very sad and makes you want to look after him forever. He was rescued by a wonderful lady and is now in good care. Dunno why but this piece reminded me of him, and what the sheild he surrounds himself in.

Hey can you be mine,

Don’t need no-one,

too extravagant…

I just want you,

Don’t ask me why,

Just know,

I want to be,

By your side….

I’ll be content and happy,

Just to know,

That your fine…

Everyday this silent attraction grows,

Don’t know,

When it started

But sooner or later…

It’s gonna be outta control….

My heart has turned into,

Wild horses,

Running through white sand beaches,

Churching up a storm-like atmosphere…

Oooo…

I wanna tell you,

So badly….

But like a pearl,

My hearts got a shell,

Around it….

To stop it breaking and hurting…

I hope that one day,

This shell will be gone,

And you’ll be the one,

Protecting it….

My Two Taiwanese Sisters

For Nicole and Jenny:

A few years back I went to Taiwan for almost 2 months, and there I met 2 amazing sisters who treated me like family (they where my Chinese dance teacher’s daughters: Nicole and Jenny). And we had so much fun going around Taiwan, hanging out, dancing and joking around with one another.
So this is a little something I wrote for them.

Me, Jenny and Nicole!
Me, Jenny and Nicole!

I miss you,

Nicole and Jenny,

Both of you were like,

My sisters when I was in Taiwan….

We went out,

Riding our bikes,

through the parks, on the roads,

And through the streets…

Racing one and another,

And seeing who was faster,

I miss the times when we would ride together…

Dancing together,

Throughout the day,

You and your mum taught me so much…

I won’t ever forget the kindness,

You showed me,

Taking me round Taiwan…

Treating me like,

I was,

Part of your family…

Going to the karaoke,

And singing randomly,

I remember you both,

Gave me so much jokes…

Giggling and laughing,

Before we went sleep…

I wander when the next time we’ll meet is…

Will you have remembered me?

Will it be how it was?

I guess I’ll just have to wait and see…

This time when your here,

allow me to take you out,

on a special treat,

I miss you,

Nicole and Jenny,

My Two Taiwanese sisters!

^.^
