For You

So I have finally started watching Bleach a bit late I know but I am on about episode 30, so I wrote this from Rukia Kunchiki’s point of view to Ichigo Kurosaki . Please bare in mind I have no idea how their relationship is going to go, I just like the idea of them two haha.

What is it about you?
That made me,
Go soft inside…

Before you,
I could cover my feelings,
Just did my job,
As a soul reaper,
And carried on…

But for you,
I gave up everything,
Knew that one day,
They’d come for me…

Thought you were done and gone,
But you came back to save me…

There’s so many things I need to tell you,
But I don’t know how…
All I know is I want to stay by your side,
Helping you in any way I can…

I think I love you…

Putting a shell around my heart

So started watching House, and thought of this while watching it.

Letting go of the attachments that I hold dear,
Putting a shell around my heart,
To protect it from the pain,
You put it through…

People think I’m cynical,
That I don’t let people,
Get close to me.

Truthfully its just a trust thing…

One day I will open up again,
It will just take the right person,
One who believes in me,
And understands me for me…

Let’s just wait and see,
How the story unfolds…

Addicted to You.

It’s been a while since I last saw you,
And I can’t get you outta of my head,
Cause I’m so addicted to you…
You made me smile,
Every time I saw your face…

You knew just what to say,
When I was feeling down,
You knew how,
to bring my spirits up again.
You made me laugh, you made me smile…

Now I can’t get you outta of my head,
Cause I’m so addicted to you…

I miss you,
The guy who would be there,
For me.
The one who understood,
My needs…

Now I can’t get you outta of my head,
Cause I’m so addicted to you…

I remember we use to talk,
About such random things,
But it was cool,
As long as I was with you….

Now I can’t get you outta of my head,
Cause I’m so addicted to you,
Wandering  what your doing,
If your thinking about me,
Like I’m thinking about you…
Thinking about you…

Everyone’s friendly, its a great workout and you learn various techniques and what not.

Finally, in my next post I am working on a song/ poem in my head which I hope to post by next week.

Lunch at Mildreds’ and a quick Review

Yesterday, I had a day filled with ups and downs as we walked around Central London, going to shops, looking at street performances and buying things, as you do. But one of the best parts of the day for me was Lunch because when we went Mildreds;’ a Vegetarian Restaurant  in central London.

Now this was the first time I’d been there and I definitely want to go again. It was delicious and not only that but the staff were friendly and seemed like they really enjoyed working there. It had a lovely atmosphere and all tables were full (Every time I see it there’s a line out the door- just to give you a sense of how popular it is).

Now back to the food. Now this is food to write home about, it is crazy good. So here’s what me (Green) and Alan (Blue) had for lunch:

Starter:

  • Panfried Halloumi, Cherry Tomato and wilted Spinach with Balsamic glaze
  • Gyoza dumplings with Mirin and Soy dipping sauce

 Main:

  • Fresh Tortelloni filled with Pumpkin and Ricotta, with Chestnut Mushroom, White Wine Cream sauce, drizzled with truffle oil
  • Organic Black Bean Burrito, with Red Pepper and Green Tomatillo Rice, topped with Tomato Salsa and Cheddar with Iceberg, Sour Cream, Guacamole and Pico de Gallo

Side:

  • Sweet potato fries with mayo (The mayo is super yum)

Dessert:

  • Banoffee Crème Brulee, Salted Caramel Bananas, Chocolate Chip Shortbread
  • Maple Pecan Pie with Vanilla Ice Cream
  • With Cappuccino

Yes we probably did overdo in terms of how much we ate and we were stuffed when we went out. The two best dishes there in my opinion was the Tortelloni and the Banoffee Crème Brulee, they were really, really yummy, could not get enough of them, but all the food was great. The only one I might not get again is the pecan pie but it does go well with the ice-cream. The rest was astounding and so yes I would highly recommend it. It’s suitable for all sorts of occasions, dates, friends, etc. Price wise for the food you are getting you can’t really complain.

Anyways hope you enjoyed reading this and if you have any veggie friends this is definitely a place to check out.

Gentle Rain

So it was raining gently this morning and as I was thinking I came up with this little poem. I hope you enjoy it. 😀

Rain is peacefully pattering down,
It suits my mood,
As it washes away
the impurities of my heart…

The gentle pattering
is not like Heaven’s crying,
But as if the Heaven’s are
Cleansing the Earth,
Watering and revitalizing its resources…

Cooling hot tempers.
Helping those whom cry,
to hide their tears.
Those who are sad,
to feel as though someone knows their pain.
And calming the hearts of all others…

On this peaceful rainy day…

Better Call Saul!

Ok, for all those Breaking Bad Fans out there, Better Call Saul is out and the 3rd episode will be out this coming Tuesday (For the UK anyway, not sure about the US).

So far it has been fabulous! If you have not seen it, here is the Trailer:

The Saul you see in the first few scenes of episode 1, show the criminal attorney in what seems to be after the events of Breaking Bad as he is now working as at a Cinnabon in Omaha, Nebraskaon. He definitely seems worse for wear, which is emphasized when Saul is seen to spend his off time drinking and watching his old TV commercials from when he was successful. It also portrays Saul as more cautious and jumpy now that he is not a criminal attorney.

It then jumps to his past before he became Saul Goodman but was instead known as Jimmy McGill.

With the first two episodes displaying Jimmy McGill’s struggle in making it as a small time attorney; his attempt in organizing a scam with 2 skateboarding hustlers in order to get a client; and how Saul becomes acquainted with Tuco. (In a life-threatening situation, whereby Jimmy McGill has to persuade Tuco not to kill him or his two skateboarding hustlers)- This bit definitely puts you on the edge.

We are also introduced to Chuck his brother, who is suffering from a mental breakdown. In addition to this we see Chuck’s law firm is ripping him off- Reason he changes his name maybe?

It finally ends on a point whereby Nacho Varga one of Tuco’s henchmen, leaves Saul to make a decision as to whether to follow his conscious, or follow the money- Which would you pick?

Let me know what your views of Better Call Saul are in the comments below 😀

Sometimes

Sometimes.
When nothing seems to be,
Going your way,
Lost in an abyss of your own making…

You turn to run.
But it just keeps,
Following you…

What do you do…

In your mind,
Your shouting for help,
Screaming for someone,
To hear you….

But all that returns,
Is silence.
A cold reflection,
Of what faces you…

Sometimes.
You just need a little boost,
Someone to stand,
By you…

Sometimes.
It’s nice to have someone,
To turn to,
To be there for you….

Sometimes…
You don’t,
Don’t want to,
Face it alone…

Restaurant Review-Momo House ;)

I apologize as I realize it has been about a month since my last post so I figured I would write a quick restaurant review.

So yesterday evening I went to Momo House restaurant in Alperton, which is an Asian fusion restaurant that serves Nepalese, Indian and Chinese cuisine. It had a nice atmosphere, staff were friendly and the food tasted good and was a reasonable price. Personally I think it is a great place for a bunch of friends or a date, as it is quite a cute small restaurant. From what I saw it can get fairly busy which only adds to the friendly atmosphere.

When we were seated they gave us crispy poppadoms with two sauces. Then we ordered steamed momos which came in a batch of 10, special fried rice, butter naan and a Aloo Palak (Potatoes & Spinach) which came to under £20, and it filled us right up. (And it was yummy! =])

So if you want to try somewhere new or fancy some Nepalese, or Indian food I suggest you try out the Momo House Restaurant. They also serve home-made alcohol which came in these tall metal things. It seemed to be a popular drink there.

Those New Year’s Resolutions

Ok, so since my last post I have been busy with university reports and assignments. I also said I would come up with some New Year resolutions here they are:

  • Not to be so argumentative, this only really occurs with people closest to me and it just ends up with both or one person being upset, so I think I need to cut down >.<
  • Try and be more positive, so recently I have been having a lot of ups and downs especially with the above subject. Ideally with less of the top one I will be more positive and happier? Might be complete nonsense, but it’s worth a try…And a general positive outlook on situations. 😉
  • Save up money…This one generally speaks for itself

Well those are my 3 resolutions, they’re not amazing but they should be achievable I hope haha

Finally, it’s my adorable little sister’s 9th birthday tomorrow! I still remember when she was really small. Now she’s growing up, and finding out what she likes and what she doesn’t like (I mean food, TV programs and toys not anything else >.<) =)

So Happy Birthday to her! Love her lots!

Thanks for reading and remember to Smile!

=)
