I will protect you

So I got to Episode 63 of Bleach when you hear about why Kuchiki Byakuya was so cold towards Rukia, his past and the reason for her being taken into a noble family. This is a little thing I wrote from Kuchiki’s to Rukia. The ‘her’ whom he is referring to is Rukia’s older sister Hisana.

Sorry it took so long,
For me to realize,
That my duty was to you…

Promised your sister,
I’d protect you…

But I was in two minds,
Made two vows.
Didn’t know which path,
To take…

Call me a fool,
It took someone,
To wake me up,
To make me understand that,
You were the more important than anything…

So I’m sorry it took me so long,
to react to the situation,
That almost got you killed…

To look you in the eye,
And tell you the truth….

It’s just you remind me,
So much of her…
And I didn’t do enough,
If I did,
Mmaybe she would have lived…

You are the only link to the one I love,
You have become my baby sister,
I will be the replacement for her,
If you let me…

I will forever protect you,
Even if it costs me my life…

My Bright Light

So I watched another few episodes of Bleach, where you find out Renji & Rukia’s history together. So this is from Renji to Rukia:

Ever since I was little,
All I ever wanted,
Was for us to be together

Being the poorest,
We went through so many hardships,
But we had some good times too,

I would travel round the world,
To stay by your side,
But I couldn’t even,
Tell you my true feelings…

I was angry at myself for letting you go,
Scared I was going to lose you,
Sad that I would be alone,
All I ever wanted,
Was for you to be happy…

Kept telling myself,
Not to interfere,
Believed you would find happiness,

Ever since I remember,
You were braver than any man I know,
Righteous to the core,
The classiest,
And most beautiful girl I know,
You stood out from the rest of us,
You are the bright shining light in my life…

But when he took you away,
Your smile seemed to fade…

I trained to surpass him,
And become the stronger man,
Hoping to win you back that way…

But to this day,
I haven’t beat him,
I don’t have the strength,
To get you back that way…

So I’ll swallow my shame and pride,
And beg this orange hair guy,
You seem put so much faith in,
To save you…

Please be safe Rukia,
You’re the only one,
I have left…

Just wait a little longer

Another Bleach inspired piece. So the other day I wrote something from  Rukia Kunchiki’s point of view, so yesterday I wrote this from Ichigo Kurosaki’s point of veiw to Rukia Kunchiki. Please bare in mind I’m still only on episode 30 so have no idea how their relationship is going to go, I just like the idea of them two haha.

I’m coming to save you,
So just wait a little longer,
Don’t lose hope…

Why didn’t you tell me,
That if you gave me,
What you gave me,
Your life would be on the line.
You’re always saving me,
I promise to return the favour…

But all I really want to do is,
Protect you,
Like your always protecting me….

You’ve begun to mean,
More and more to me,
Never thought,
You would have this effect on me…

You gave my life,
More meaning,
Than I ever knew before,
Made my life a little more interesting…

You opened up a world,
I never knew existed…

Now your not here with me,
I’m wandering,
Whats running through your mind,
If your ok…
Will you smile when you see me again…

Our entwined lives,
Constantly running through my mind,
Memories of us,
Fighting side by side,
Our eyes linking,
Across the battlefield,
Reading each other,
Through our actions…

Know this,
I will get stronger for you,
I will be the shoulder for you to cry on,
The anchor for you to lean on…

And if you have no-one else,
Know that you will always have me,
Regardless of the distance,
Our hearts will always be connected,
To one another…

I still have so many questions,
But know one thing for a fact,
I will be with you,
When you need me,
I will be the one who makes you smile…

So wait for me,Just a little longer,
Cause I’m almost there…
