This is something me and my sister Zoe(who’s 6) wrote last year, when we were travelling in the car 🙂 She’s my little inspiration sometimes, and can be very funny and cheeky ❤

Silent Attraction

Concept:

In this piece the girl has a silent attraction for someone but is scared to tell them, as she’s been hurt before. But she hopes one day he’ll notice

and maybe he’s the one who will breakthrough the guard she’s shielded herself in…

My Two Taiwanese Sisters

For Nicole and Jenny:

A few years back I went to Taiwan for almost 2 months, and there I met 2 amazing sisters who treated me like family (they where my Chinese dance teacher’s daughters: Nicole and Jenny). And we had so much fun going around Taiwan, hanging out, dancing and joking around with one another.

So this is a little something I wrote for them.

I miss you,

Nicole and Jenny,

Both of you were like,

My sisters when I was in Taiwan….

We went out,

Riding our bikes,

through the parks, on the roads,

And through the streets…

Racing one and another,

And seeing who was faster,

I miss the times when we would ride together…

Dancing together,

Throughout the day,

You and your mum taught me so much…

I won’t ever forget the kindness,

You showed me,

Taking me round Taiwan…

Treating me like,

I was,

Part of your family…

Going to the karaoke,

And singing randomly,

I remember you both,

Gave me so much jokes…

Giggling and laughing,

Before we went sleep…

I wander when the next time we’ll meet is…

Will you have remembered me?

Will it be how it was?

I guess I’ll just have to wait and see…

What Is This Feeling…

Concept:

The persona has never felt like this before, and so is unsure what this feeling is. But when the persona and the one they like first met the persona felt a connection straight away, almost as I they had know this person for years, and was unable to stop thinking about them without smiling. Continually replaying the time they spent with one another, but is still shy to tell the person they like that they like him/her.

Summery

This song is about a girl who went through a lot with someone, and he would tell her constantly that one day she would leave but he would love her regardless . But then one day he just stop calling her, and stopped answering when she messaged or called him, and not once during the time they were together did he tell her he loved her, always saying he was too busy and can she not bother him that day. So when she saw him again she decided it was to time to leave this flame behind and she knew that in her heart that this would be their last goodbye…

You’ve seemed to have,

Forgotten everything we’ve been through,

Everything we’ve ever done.

Who’d forget you…eventually….

But I guess it was, the other way round.

Yesterday, was my little brother’s 14th birthday! So this is a little something I wrote for him, to let him know how much he means to me as a little brother, regardless of how annoying he can be sometimes, he can also be funny and sweet. So in my opinion he’s the best little brother I could ask for. So this is for you, you little smart-ass 😛

No expectations leads no disappointments

Concept:

From past experience, even when you don’t think you have an expectation of someone, when they do something that disappoints you or upsets you. Or even do something you didn’t think they would or something that you thought they would do.

Then you already have that expectation there subconsciously. For a majority of the time, you don’t realize that you hold this expectation of people until they do something, and it only then you sort of realize that you’ve set some sort of standards for them even if they don’t know it.

So in that sense its not they’re fault if you’ve put an expectation on them that they don’t even know about.

So this is kind of a song that states that if you don’t hold this kind of expectation of people, then you won’t be disappointed if they don’t fulfil it.

So I’m gonna stop having expectations,
Of other people…

Cause I’m tired of being disappointed..
But the thing is,
Its not their fault…
Its mine…
For setting an expectation in the first place…

They might not even know it,
And yet I sadden if they don’t meet it,

Concept and Summary:

A lot of people have at least that one person who will always make them smile, whether it’s a best friend, a lover, someone they know or even a stranger. It’s the idea that this person makes all your worries seem like nothing, and its the kind of love that even if you’re not with that person in any kind of relationship, so long as they’re happy or content your happy 🙂 Hope you like it. I wrote this piece a few years back when I had finished exams and realized that to get anywhere in life you need to really work hard for what you want as its not handed to you on a silver plate. But regardless of all the obstacles you still can get through it all.

Peace & Tragedy

Concept:

This piece I wrote when there was a lot of natural disasters and fighting going on in the world. And I thought about when there are disasters many people pull together to help on another even if its people they don’t know or wouldn’t associate themselves with normaly. So its then that you see the true humility of people and their caring and benevolent side.

In a sense I also found it sort of ironic too because for some its not what they would normally do and yet when put in these situations they act more on instict than anything else.

Peace and Tragedy:

How is it…

Peace and tragedy,

walk had in hand together.

When I look back,

Its so strange,

How we didn’t help each other…

Till something chaotic hits us…

Then we put out a lending hand,

Saying, “Doyou need help?”

“Together we’ll survive, but alone we’ll die!”
